The world of design and creative arts has changed rapidly over the past decade due to convergence of disciplinary paradigms and confluence of a plethora of ideas. These convergences may be found in the fundamental changes in production, exhibition, and reception of creative arts and design brought about by digital technology and rapid transnational dissemination of information. We have seen a pivotal shift of emphasis regarding the skill set required both in the industry and academics from technology to design. As a result, creative art practices have become multifaceted and the teaching and research essentially interdisciplinary.
The theme, “Conference on Contemporary Perspectives in Design and Creative Arts”, provides a platform for scholars and professionals to share and discuss the innovations and development in the field of design and creative arts. Research papers, case studies, conceptual designs, experimental art, and creative works are invited on the mentioned sub-themes.
