About KATHLEEN100

The year 2021 marks the 100th birth anniversary of Kathleen (Kay) McNulty Antonelli, an Irish-American computer programmer. She is recognized as one of the six programmers of the ENIAC, one of the first electronic digital computers. Initially hired as a “human computer” at a sub-professional civil service grade in the US Army during World War II, the Irish-American computer programmer was selected to work on the ENIAC in 1945 for performing ballistics calculations.  School of Computer Science and Engineering, under the aegis of Lovely Professional University, pays homage to this great programmer of all times by hosting “KATHLEEN100” – 5th International Conference on Computing Sciences.

Objective of the Conference

  • The main objective of the conference is to provide a unique platform to facilitate the scientists, researchers, academicians, industrialists, and students to share the recent advancements and the challenges in the all aspects of Computer Science and Engineering.
