In the digital age and media convergence the world of media and creative arts has changed rapidly. Fundamental changes have been noticed in production, exhibition and reception of media, creative arts and design brought about by digital technology, media convergence and rapid transnational dissemination of information. Essentially, practices in all these creative fields have become multifaceted and their teaching and research interdisciplinary.
School of Journalism, Film and Creative Arts is hosting a two day national conference on “Changing Paradigms of Mass Communication amidst Digital Age” on 25th and 26th November, 2022. This conference will be an opportunity for media personalities, professionals and academicians from Journalism and Mass-Communication and Creative and Performing arts to share their experiences on the latest advances and evolving developments in their respective fields. The participating experts will also attempt to understand the future trends in digital media and arts. Besides the participant will deliberate on how these domains can contribute positively to the development of the society in digital age.
The conference will provide a platform for innovative and new ideas to be heard and discussed. It will provide delegates and students with perfect setting to exchange research findings, best practices and emerging trends in Media, creative and performing arts and how the same need to be incorporated into the relevant academic programs.
