LPU is recipient of various awards/ recognitions/ accreditations including NIRF ranking 2020 (MHRD Government of India) which ranked LPU 99th in the most crucial ‘Overall Category’ and 78th in the university category. LPU has been ranked amongst top institutions of India in various disciplines-29th in Pharmacy, 49th in Management and 87th in Engineering. It also has the distinction of being the first private university in India to get ICAR accreditation from Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India for its Agriculture programmes. In January 2019, LPU hosted 106th Indian Science Congress and became the first private university to host Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India with three Nobel Laureates from government, industry and academia.
