Feminine Hygiene Management- Beyond Taboo (ICFHM-2022) November 25-26, 2022 Online Registration

ABOUT ICFHM

Warm greeting from the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, LPU Punjab. LPU cordially invites you to the International Conference on Feminine Hygiene Management- Beyond Taboo (ICFHM-2022) on 25th-26th November 2022 at Lovely Professional University. The conference and related events are planned to create feminine hygiene awareness to enlighten the society. It aims to break the menstrual taboos, stigmas and discriminations. It is need of the hour to educate both men and women about feminine wellbeing and hygiene. Social isolation and psychological hardship add to the physical discomfort and burden of women and negatively impact their health. The social taboos and restrictions associated with menstruation may affect their schooling, job performance, mobility and freedom. Same is true to some extent for pregnancy, menopause and other normal physiological phenomena related to female health. Given the multiple challenges our women and girls face, it is evident that promoting menstrual hygiene management is not only a matter of sanitation, it is also an important step towards safeguarding the dignity, bodily integrity of women and promoting gender equality.

The ICFHM conference aims at providing a leading forum for sharing original research contributions and practical developments in the field of Feminine hygiene Management. The main objective of the conference is to provide a unique platform to facilitate the scientists, researchers, academicians, industrialists, students, physicians, nurses, psychologists, sociologists, anthropologists, women’s and gender studies scholars, communications studies scholars, artists, literary and cultural critics, health educators, and menstrual activists to share their research instincts.

We look forward to welcome you to the charming and vibrant campus of Lovely Professional University and the conference of social cause.
