The year 2024 marks the 100th birth anniversary of Jean Bartik (27 December 1924 - 23 March 2011), who was one of the original six programmers for the ENIAC computer. She began work at the University of Pennsylvania, first manually calculating ballistics trajectories and then using ENIAC to do so. Bartik and her colleagues developed and codified many of the fundamentals of programming while working on the ENIAC since it was the first computer of its kind. After her work on ENIAC, Bartik went on to work on BINAC and UNIVAC and spent time at a variety of technical companies as a writer, manager, engineer and programmer. Content-management framework Drupal's default theme, Bartik, was named in her honor.

School of Computer Application, under the aegis of Lovely Professional University, pays homage to this great scientist of all times by hosting “BARTIK100 – International Conference on Networks, Intelligence and Computing (ICONIC-2024)”.

The Conference will be held from April 26-27, 2024 to provide a platform for the scientists, researchers, academicians, industrialists, and students to assimilate the knowledge and get the opportunity to discuss and share insights through deep-dive research findings on the recent disruptions and developments in the field of computing. All technical sessions will largely be steering Network Technologies, Artificial Intelligence and ethics, Advances in Computing, Futuristic Trends in Data Science, Security and Privacy, Data Mining and Information Retrieval.

Objectives

• To provide a platform to facilitate the scientists, researchers, academicians, industrialists, and students to exchange their knowledge, ideas and innovations.
• To deliberate and disseminate the recent advancements and challenges in the computing sciences.
• To enable the delegates to establish research or business relations as well as to find international linkage for future collaborations.
