Pharmacy education was introduced at Lovely Professional University in 2002. In less than two decades, the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences has developed outstanding infrastructure and facilities. To provide top-notch pharmaceutical education, the school has assembled a highly knowledgeable faculty with backgrounds in education, industry, and drug regulation. The achievements of our students and faculty have been recognized on national and international platforms. Many of our alumni hold prestigious positions in both industry and academia, domestically and internationally. The discipline continuously strives to enhance the quality of its education and engages in cutting-edge research. Students from the department have filed numerous national and international patents.

Ranked among the top 20 pharmacy institutes in India by the NIRF India rankings for the past five years, the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences offers practice-based teaching in key areas such as drug design, screening, product development, and clinical patient care. This training prepares students for traditional roles in clinical and industrial pharmacy as well as emerging fields like technical writing, regulatory affairs, insurance, pharmacovigilance, and clinical data management.
