“Technology is what brings people together…” a very fitting statement for describing the 3 day International Conference on Small Satellites (ICSS 2019) organised together by Society for Small Satellite Systems(SSSS) and Sensor Research Society(SRS) conducted at Research Centre Imarat, Hyderabad from Feb 07, 2019 to Feb 09, 2019.

It is a first of its kind event in the country conducted highlighting the small satellite technology as well as market dynamics with participation and collaboration of various stakeholders including Engineers, Scientists, Technologists, Academicians from research labs, industries and universities from India and Abroad. This event was initiated by SSSS and SRS societies together to bring promising technologies to serve demanding applications to society with opportunities for jobs and business under one roof.

The first ever flagship event got a overwhelming response from all the associates with presence of 1100+ delegates and this conference is enriched with Keynote addresses and invited talks by renowned persons from Academia, Research Institutions and Industry. While organisers planned initially for about 400 to 500 people, two weeks before the conference the strength crossed 800 mark and online registration was closed. Other organisational registrations went ahead and total number to be planned exceeded 1100 people.
